Rescue:

Fonzi’s life was hanging by a thread when curious children discovered him in their family’s barn.
The tiny black kitten was limp in their arms, barely responsive, and close to fading away. With quick
thinking, they carried him inside and gave him sugar water and kitten milk replacement, and to their
relief, he perked up. Unfortunately, he wasn’t allowed to stay in the house, and when placed back in
the barn, things became even more dangerous. By morning, Fonzi had fallen through a hole in the
floor into the area where the cows were kept—far too risky for such a fragile baby. This time, the
children’s family knew he couldn’t survive without help. They brought him back indoors, cared for
him as best they could, and reached out to a rescue. By the time Fonzi arrived at Pet Patrol, he
was skin and bones, his eyes dull and weak. But with medical care and the comfort of a surrogate
mom to nurse from, he slowly regained strength, turning into the sweet, thriving kitten he is today.

Personality:

Fonzi is an adorable boy with a playful, loving spirit. He enjoys running, tumbling, and batting toys
around, often side by side with his best friend Fidget. Rescued within days of each other and raised
by the same surrogate mom, the two have grown up together as constant companions. Fonzi is
respectful of his playmate’s energy and happily joins in on the fun, but when the games are over, he
curls up in a cuddle pile with Fidget to rest. Easy to pick up and carry, Fonzi soaks up affection and
is endlessly grateful for the second chance at life he’s been given. Fonzi is ready to be adopted into
his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
