Rescue:
Ace and Ashure grew up wandering a small cemetery attached to a white church, a popular gathering place on Sundays and for community events. Visitors noticed the mother cat and her kittens there for quite some time, crossing gravel paths and hiding in the bushes, but no one acted to help. By the time word reached a rescuer in a neighboring town, the kittens had already endured sweltering summer heat, cold nights, and rainy days—conditions no kitten should live through. While their siblings were rescued earlier in the month, Ace and Ashure were more difficult to catch. Frightened and unsure of people, they took time and patience before finally being trapped. Once safe, however, they quickly revealed their affectionate sides, socializing up fast and proving themselves to be as sweet and playful as their siblings.
Personality:
Ashure is a curious little explorer who loves to play and discover new things. Boxes are his favorite hideouts, and he and his siblings often turn them into hide and seek playgrounds, popping out to surprise each other. He has a loud, happy purr and is very comfortable being handled by children, making him a delightful companion. Friendly and affectionate, Ashure is sure to bring joy to any household. Ashure is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
