Rescue:

Late one evening, while returning from a walk through their small village, two rescuers spotted what
they thought was just one little kitten. When they called out, the orange kitten ran straight toward
them, meowing for help—very unlike the wary barn cats they usually saw. Moments later, a second
kitten appeared, and they quickly realized the danger the little ones faced as a champagne colored
boy nearly got hit by a speeding car while crossing the road. Knowing they couldn’t leave them
outside, the rescuers returned with food, treats, and a carrier. What began as two kittens soon
turned into four: the longhaired boy walked right into the carrier, the tabby girl needed a little more
convincing, and the last two were carefully coaxed into safety. It was clear these weren’t barn
kittens—they were far too healthy and had been hiding only under cars, with no shelter of their own.
Likely dumped that very night, the four kittens finally had warmth, safety, and each other. Snuggled
up in their crate, they purred together in fourpart
harmony—the most beautiful sound in the world.

Personality:

Toast is a soft, affectionate little love who wants nothing more than to be dearly loved by a human.
He often cuddles up cozy with a sibling and has the sweetest, innocent look in his eyes that makes
it impossible not to fall for him. Don’t be fooled by his calm and snuggly nature—Toast also has a
playful side. He loves to bat around balls and chase them, bringing bursts of energy and fun to his
day. Toast is looking for a forever family who will cherish him and keep him safely indoors, where he can enjoy both his cuddles and his playtime.
