Rescue:

Roman’s journey began when he appeared on the back porch of a remote country property. A
woman, staying at her parents’ home while they were away, discovered the little tabby waiting
quietly for food and care. No one knows where he came from, but Roman seemed relieved to have
finally found someone to notice him. Though he wasn’t allowed inside the house, he was given
food, water, and kindness while waiting for help. Encouraged to bring him safely indoors, she later
gathered him up and met a Pet Patrol volunteer halfway. Roman stayed with the volunteer for a few
days of care before arriving at the sanctuary. His story is a reminder of how resilient cats can be—
the way they seek out homes, hoping to be saved, and show the will to survive against the odds.

Personality:

Roman is an adorable little boy with a happy go lucky
personality. He loves people and is always
interested in whatever you’re doing, following along with curiosity. Gentle and easy to handle, he’s
quick to be picked up and carried, and he delights in exploring the playroom at the sanctuary with
all its toys. Roman also made fast friends with Olive, his roommate during recovery, and the two
enjoyed spending their days together. With his affectionate nature and playful energy, Roman is
ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him
safely indoors.
