Rescue:
Twyla came to Pet Patrol through a caring individual who was contacted by a friend with a horse
barn. The barn’s resident cat had given birth once again, and while the friend had managed to find
homes for the two male kittens, she was determined not to send the two females to another barn
where they could continue the cycle of reproduction. The kittens had been kept safe in a small dog
crate inside the barn, with food and water provided daily, but the situation was not ideal, especially
during the hot summer weather. The barn owner, recognizing the need for change, has since made
arrangements to have the mother cat spayed. Thanks to the quick action of a concerned friend, the
two female kittens were brought into Pet Patrol’s care, where they are now thriving in a safe and
loving environment.
Personality:
Meet Twyla, a loving, affectionate kitten who’s full of personality and charm! Twyla adores attention
and cuddles, and she’s not shy about asking for them. This sweet girl will give a gentle meow to let
you know she’s ready for love, and once she’s in your arms or curled up on your chest, her purr
motor roars to life. She’s happiest when she’s close to her humans, soaking up all the snuggles she
can get. Twyla loves being picked up and held, and she melts right into you with every cuddle. Her
loud, happy purrs are a sign of just how content she feels when she’s with someone she trusts.
When she’s not cuddling, she enjoys birdwatching
from a sunny window and playing with her sister
Twirl. Twyla would love to be adopted alongside Twirl, they’re a sweet pair who bring out the best
in each other and love to be together. Twyla is ready for a forever home full of warmth, love, and
cozy naps, ideally with her sister and in a home that will keep her safely indoors.
