Rescue:

Rhubarb first appeared one afternoon at the edge of the bush near our rhubarb patch, just beyond
the yard. She would come and go throughout the winter, always keeping a bit of distance. As spring
arrived, we noticed she was getting bigger—and then one chilly May morning, she stepped out of
the doghouse looking suddenly slim! We discovered her five newborn kittens tucked safely inside
and gently moved them inside our home into a cozy banana box from the grocery store. Since
then, Rhubarb and her babies—Riley, Reebok, Rebus, River, and Raven—have grown strong and
healthy in our home, and they’re now ready to find their forever families.

Personality:

Rebus is a curious and clever boy with a knack for turning anything into a toy; pens, socks, you
name it! Though he’s a bit more cautious than his siblings, he’s warming up quickly and finding
confidence each day. When he’s not playing, you’ll find him nestled in the bay window with his
littermates, soaking in the sun. Rebus is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
