Rescue:

Rhubarb first appeared one afternoon at the edge of the bush near our rhubarb patch, just beyond the yard. She would come and go throughout the winter, always keeping a bit of distance. As spring arrived, we noticed she was getting bigger—and then one chilly May morning, she stepped out of the doghouse looking suddenly slim! We discovered her five newborn kittens tucked safely inside and gently moved them inside our home into a cozy banana box from the grocery store. Since
then, Rhubarb and her babies—Riley, Reebok, Rebus, River, and Raven—have grown strong and healthy in our home, and they’re now ready to find their forever families.

Personality:

Rebus is a lovable boy with a playful streak, and he would be happiest adopted with his sister River. He can turn anything into a toy—pens, socks, or just about anything that catches his eye—and he’s always ready for a game with his sister. When playtime is done, he enjoys stretching out in a sunny window, happy to snooze on his own or curled up with River. With his easygoing personality and affectionate spirit, Rebus will quickly win the hearts of his forever family. Rebus is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
