Rescue:

Rhubarb first appeared one afternoon at the edge of the bush near our rhubarb patch, just beyond
the yard. She would come and go throughout the winter, always keeping a bit of distance. As spring
arrived, we noticed she was getting bigger—and then one chilly May morning, she stepped out of
the doghouse looking suddenly slim! We discovered her five newborn kittens tucked safely inside
and gently moved them inside our house into a cozy banana box from the grocery store. Since
then, Rhubarb and her babies—Riley, Reebok, Rebus, River, and Raven—have grown strong and
healthy in our home, and they’re now ready to find their forever families.

Personality:

River is a sweet and playful little girl who would love to be adopted with her brother Rebus. Petite
and beautifully marked, she’s full of fun and mischief, especially when racing through the big
rainbow tunnel and leaping out to surprise you as you walk by. She loves to chase anything that
moves and never misses the chance to turn playtime into an adventure. River is also very
comfortable with respectful children, making her a wonderful companion for a family. With her
charm and affectionate nature, she is sure to bring joy to any home. River is ready to be adopted
into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
