Devyn

Rescue:

Dixie and her kittens are what we like to call a pot of gold here at Pet Patrol; an entire family of
stunning orange cats, not even a speck of white among them. For a few years, Dixie lived outdoors
near a small town, hanging around the same house. Locals looked out for her, and when she had
her first litter, a small rescue stepped in to help once the kittens were around 12 weeks old. But
Dixie herself remained elusive; never quite close enough to catch. That changed with her second
litter. With patience, time, and a humane trap, Dixie and all her kittens were finally brought to safety.
Now, she and her babies, Davian, Daphne, Dalton, Dani, and Devyn are thriving in Pet Patrol’s
care. Safe, warm, and no longer at the mercy of the elements, they’ve settled into indoor life
beautifully.

Personality:

Devyn is a fearless acrobat—leaping, climbing, and launching herself from heights with pure joy.
She’s full of energy and keeps pace with the most active of her siblings, always chasing something
or someone. She loves string toys and shoelaces, and you can often find her contentedly playing with a dangly
toy by herself. Despite her bravery in play, she very much prefers all four paws on the
ground when her humans are involved, especially if the dreaded nail clipper comes into view.
Devyn may take some time to warm up to new faces, but she is easy to win over with her favorite
toys. She has a habit of checking in on her humans to make sure she knows where the best place
to sleep is once playtime is over… with them of course! Thankfully, Devyn also finds comfort in
familiar feline companions and would do best adopted with her sister Daphne. Devyn is ready to be
adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely
indoors.
