Rescue:
Dixie and her kittens are what we like to call a pot of gold here at Pet Patrol; an entire family of
stunning orange cats, not even a speck of white among them. For a few years, Dixie lived outdoors
near a small town, hanging around the same house. Locals looked out for her, and when she had
her first litter, a small rescue stepped in to help once the kittens were around 12 weeks old. But
Dixie herself remained elusive, never quite close enough to catch. That changed with her second
litter. With patience, time, and a humane trap, Dixie and all her kittens were finally brought to safety.
Now, she and her babies—Davian, Daphne, Dalton, Dani, and Devyn—are thriving in Pet Patrol’s
care. Safe, warm, and no longer at the mercy of the elements, they’ve settled into indoor life
beautifully.
Personality:
Dani is the mellowest of the crew and absolutely adores lap time. She’ll happily curl up and fall
asleep on you after a play session, purring the whole time. Though quiet, she’s a strong player and
especially enjoys wrestling with her brothers. She loves being held, handled, and given all the love
you’ve got. Dani must go to a home with another kitten and would love to be adopted with Davian
or Dalton, her favourite cuddle and play partners. Dani is ready to be adopted into her forever
home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
