ADOPTION PROFILE

George

George

George

Rescue:

George was hard to miss, his brilliant colouring caught everyone’s eye as he wandered from
house to house on a quiet court, meowing to be let in. He especially lingered outside homes where
he could smell other cats, hoping someone would open the door. One kind woman noticed his
persistence. After a night of feeding him, she found him still waiting the next morning. The second
night, he showed up with scratches on his face, likely from territorial neighbourhood cats who
weren’t welcoming him. That was it, her husband said, “Bring the boy in.”
They made a cozy space for him in their sunroom, and George quickly showed how affectionate
and friendly he really is. They later learned that a family down the street had recently been evicted,
their furniture left out on the lawn, and they were gone. It’s very likely George had belonged to them,
and had been left behind. Now safe, warm, and no longer begging for a place to belong, George
is starting a new chapter filled with love.

Personality:

George is a total sweetheart with a big heart and an even bigger purr. This handsome boy
absolutely loves attention and will happily snuggle right into your arms, purring away like a little
motor. He’s more than happy to be held and will even give you kisses in return, just one of the
many ways he shows affection. George is great with children of all ages and has done well with
other cats too. He’s a gentle, easygoing companion who just wants to be loved. While he’s not too
keen on barking dogs, he’s perfectly content in a quieter home where he can relax, explore, and
soak up all the love he can get. George is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
