Rescue:
Hawkins was found sitting alone at the end of a country lane, confused and abandoned. The man who
owns the property—a veterinarian—had heard a car pull up, stop briefly, and then speed away.
When he walked to his mailbox, there was Hawkins, freshly dumped but thankfully unharmed. It
seemed the person who left him knew the vet would take him in, but there was no guarantee
Hawkins wouldn’t wander into the woods or the road. Luckily, this sweet boy made the right choice.
The vet scooped him up, provided medical care, and reached out to a local rescuer, who then
contacted Pet Patrol.
Personality:
Hawkins is a total sweetheart. He’s incredibly friendly, easy to pick up, and cuddles right in. He
loves being petted and brushed, and purrs the moment you give him attention. Despite being
abandoned, he clearly knew love in his former home. Hawkins is now happily exploring the
sanctuary, enjoying the toys and watching the world through the windows. He would be a wonderful
addition to most households. Hawkins is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will
welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
