Rescue:

Jack and Harley came into Pet Patrol’s care under heartbreaking circumstances. A woman reached
out asking for help with two young teenage cats she had been caring for. When she and her fiancé
had combined their households, he brought home two tiny kittens—Harley and Jack—while she
already had two small dogs of her own. The boys were loved and considered part of the family.
As the kittens grew and reached the age for neutering and vaccinations, everything changed. Her
fiancé left unexpectedly, sending a text to say he wasn’t coming back. Left alone to support herself
and her dogs on a modest income, the woman knew she couldn’t give the cats the care they
deserved.
With great sadness and many tears, she made the difficult decision to surrender Jack and Harley to
Pet Patrol. It was clear she loved them deeply but wanted them to have the best possible chance at
a secure, loving future.
