Rescue:
Ayden was born on a farm where the cat population was kept under control by giving away the
unwanted kittens to other farms. With multiple litters born each year, the farm owners found
themselves struggling to even give them away for free. They did their best to provide food and
shelter, but it became clear that it was simply time to have the adults spayed or neutered and not
have to worry again. The farm owners reached out for help and Pet Patrol stepped in, enrolling
them in our barn cat program. This is where the cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed,
and even microchipped. Those that are feral are returned to the barn, and friendly cats like Ayden
are provided the opportunity to find a forever home indoors. Now in Pet Patrol’s care, Ayden has
embraced indoor life, enjoying warmth, safety, and affection. He’s ready for the next chapter—
finding a loving forever family where he will be treasured and adored.
Personality:
Aiden’s humble beginnings may not have allowed his true personality to shine, but now that he’s
safe at the sanctuary, he has blossomed into a friendly and confident cat. He is incredibly social
and enjoys seeking out attention, happily leaning into pets, back massages, and chin scratches.
Whatever affection you’re willing to offer, Aiden is always ready to soak it up! While he’s still getting
used to being picked up, he’s improving every day. He has thoroughly enjoyed exploring the
sanctuary, testing out the toys and climbers, and once the weather warms up, he’ll get to discover
the outdoor cat enclosure as well. Aiden has shown no signs of timidness—he’s outgoing, curious,
and eager to be part of the action. This affectionate and playful boy is ready to find his forever
home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
