Rescue:
Socks came from the same home as many other cats, which had become overwhelmed, cluttered,
and unsanitary. In total, so far, 21 cats and kittens have been rescued from the household, where
conditions had deteriorated beyond control. By now, it was unsafe and making life difficult for the
cats who lived there. Young felines like Socks were kept in carriers overnight, sitting in their own
waste without care or attention. They endured harsh conditions until Pet Patrol was contacted.
Socks and several others were finally given the chance to leave their past behind to experience life
in a safe, loving environment. Despite his rough start, Socks has adjusted beautifully to his new life.
No longer having to compete for food or comfort, he is thriving and ready to find a forever home
where he will be loved and cherished and never have to suffer again.
Personality:
Socks has a remarkably positive outlook on life, despite his difficult beginnings. This sweet and kind
boy has the biggest purrs packed into his small frame, always ready to show his happiness. He’s
playful, happy go lucky, and full of energy, always looking for the next toy to chase or a friend to
romp around with. While he may start off a little shy in a new environment, Socks quickly warms up
and is surprisingly outgoing when meeting new people. He’s easy to pick up, loves a good cuddle,
and enjoys the company of other cats. With his gentle nature and affectionate personality, he’s sure
to bring warmth and joy to any home. Socks is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that
will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
