Kenny

Rescue:

Kenny and his siblings come from a rural barn where the cat population quickly grew out of control.
It all began with one unaltered male cat and a stray female who was abandoned there. Over time,
the situation spiraled, leaving a retired woman and her adult son—who faces health challenges—
struggling to care for an ever growing number of cats and kittens. These cats and kittens, ranging
from 15 weeks to 2 years old, are incredibly friendly and well socialized despite their challenging
start in life. With limited resources and mounting veterinary bills, the family did their best to provide
food, shelter, and medical care for the cats, but it became overwhelming. Recognizing the need for
help, they reached out to local rescues, and that’s when Pet Patrol stepped in. Kenny and his
siblings were among the first to be brought to safety. Now safe in Pet Patrol’s care, they are on the
path to finding loving homes where they will no longer have to endure concrete floors and work
benches or live in uncertainty. Their story is a reminder of the importance of spaying and neutering
and how a little compassion can change lives. Kenny and his siblings are now ready to begin a new
chapter, one filled with love and security.

Personality:

Kenny is a truly special kitten with a heart full of courage and love. Though he is completely blind, it
doesn’t stop him from being a playful and affectionate boy. Now that his painful eyes are gone, he
can focus on just being a happy, healthy kitten. He loves to explore using his other senses and has
quickly adapted to his surroundings, showing just how resilient he is. Kenny is never alone—his
sister Kupcake has become his guiding light, calling to him and initiating play. He relies on the
presence of another cat to help him feel secure, and having a feline friend is essential for his
confidence and wellbeing. Kenny adores gentle pets and will purr endlessly when snuggled. He is
looking for a quiet, loving home with a companion cat—ideally his sister Kupcake—who will help
him navigate the world with love and patience. Kenny is ready to be adopted into his forever home.
One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
