Rescue:
Pia is the mother to Pancake and Pepper, who were born outside and recently adopted.
Before coming to Pet Patrol Pia had found herself living on the streets and was lucky
enough to find a family to feed her. She would come to the same house every day, lay on
the porch and sun herself. She was fed, had a cat shelter and people who pet her and
greeted her with smiles. Since she was not spayed she had a litter of three little grey kittens
at the nearby mill and was pretty smart in protecting them from predators. The opening
to her den was under a set of stairs, just big enough for her to get through and it went in
deep and farther than the eye could see. The two kittens were rescued first, and then Pia
and her last little kitten and all have thrived in Pet Patrol care.
Personality:
PIa is a petite and adorable little cat. She obviously likes her people and will purr deeply
when pet. She doesn’t mind being picked up and carried around, will sit up on your lap and
rub up against your legs. She is adorable. It has been nice to watch her learn about toys,
enjoying the luxuries of a home. She has not had to travel long distances for food, she has
not had to endure the ever-changing weather or sleep in dirt and leaves. She no longer has
to worry about becoming prey. Pia is a lovely little cat, ready to be adopted into her forever
home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
