Rescue:
Three little kittens were born in a nest made from dried grass by their mother. Her name is
Scarlett and she is about one-year-old. Unfortunately, she’s feral, meaning that she’s never
had the opportunity to be pet and handled by people. She was very frightened by human
activity but when her kittens reached a certain age, ready to eat, she brought them to one
lady’s back porch. The woman recognized that the kittens needed to be touched and handled
as soon as possible. The kittens were rescued without difficulty. She set down a cat
carrier with a nice bed inside and they walked right in to have an afternoon nap. She closed
the door and brought them to Pet Patrol. Scarlet is next on the list to be rescued.
Personality:
A bit about Rosie’s sweet personality: When she first arrived at her foster home she was
shy, but now has really come out of her shell. She loves cuddles a lot, being pet and having
her chin rubbed and head scratched. Rosie appreciates her people when she gets used to
them and she is really playful too. She’s an adventurous girl who likes exploring nooks and
crannies and looking out the window. Rosie is ready to be adopted into her forever home.
One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
