Rescue:

A couple who lives in a small village, just outside of a small town have had several stray cats
show up at their property over the last year. Before that, for the decades that they have lived
there, rarely did any kitties arrive. One day Glenda appeared at the edge of the field and
immediately the set food and water out for her, gradulally moving it to the deck where they
could have a better look at her. It was also to protect her from the crop being harvested and the
blades of the fast moving machine which could kill her. She moved under their deck full time
then and gradulally showed her friendly side. With the autumn weather turning colder, and
gloomy rainy days head they decided to rescue this tiny feline and bring herindoors. Now
Glenda is happy and healthy and learning to enjoy her life that was once just about survival,
minute by minute.

Personality:

Glenda is a petite little cat who is very sweet and fun loving. Once she becomes comfortable
with her change of environment and the people who care for her, she will ask for a lot of petting,
whether you’re a human or another cat. She is playful and has explored all the toys the foster
home has offered here, and especially likes anything with catnip, the plastic springs and
watching the world outside from the safely of the window sill. Catching a few warm ray from the
sun is an afternoon treat. Glenda is looking for a home that will allow her time to adjust, is
routine and easy going. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
