Rescue:
As told by their rescuer: “A couple days before we found the wee little kitties l notice a cat that
had passed on our lawn. I asked my son to bury the cat not even thinking that she may have
been a mother. The next day we had a cold snap and the temperature dropped to near zero.
My son was working outside and every so often he thought he could hear a frantic cry in the
wind. He stopped his work and started looking around but he could not find anything. That
night was bitter cold and my son could not sleep and he was determined to find out what was
making that heart breaking cry! He finally spotted them at the back of an old shed where the
grass was very long and they were so small they could barely stand but were meowing their
little hearts out. They were frozen! We quickly warmed them up on the heating pad and
wrapped them in a towel. I was worried that they would die, but each day they have grown
stronger. The kitties are so thankful that their little purr motors go steadily. What a delight to
see them grow and play and what sweet companions they will be.
Personality:
Oscar and Olivia are a sweet pair of siblings with the biggest purrs! They have easily become
a part of family life with their gentle and curious personalities. . They often chase each other,
which is great fun to watch, as they will hide from each other and then pop out to continue the
game! They enjoy playing with children and have been happy to be carried in arms. A favourite
toy is the cat tunnel, where they often play hide and seek with each other. When playtime is
over, they will find a lap to cuddle on or will find a cozy spot on the cat tree. This bonded pair
are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family
and keep them safely indoors.
