Rescue:

Marcelina’s story told by her rescuer: “I rescued Marcelina from a family home when she had
already given birth to her three kittens, and they were about 3 weeks old. The woman was
looking to place them and the rest of her family of cats with a cat rescue organization for as
she was moving. She only wanted to take the dogs with her. Once in my home, until Pet Patrol
could take them, Marceline showed me what a very friendly cat she was and she got along
with my resident cats. I keep foster cats in their own room, letting them out during the day to
freely roam the house. Marceline is hilarious to listen to her call her babies and she’s a beautiful
brown tabby. All seem healthy and happy. “ Within a short period of time a foster home
with Pet Patrol came available and Marceline, with her kittens Magnolia, Mittens and Mahi
were in our care where they have thrived in a family home.

Personality:

Marceline is a sweet girl who loves to hang around with the family. She is eager to be in the
same room as her people, engaging in every day life and the activities around her. She is a
talkative cat, asking for cuddles and responding with a quick purr. Generally mellow she can’t
resist chasing a wand toy or even a dangling string for a fun play session! Marceline has been
gentle and sweet with children and would be an excellent pet. She is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
