One rainy and dreary winter afternoon a man pulled up to the Pet Patrol sanctuary without an
appointment. He asked if we needed any more cats. He and his family were going away for
an extended period of time and they had two five month old kittens that needed to be placed.
They originally were given as kittens to this young family as gifts from his aunt, who’s cat had a
litter of kittens. In that community, which involves farming and living life in the most traditional
way, cats are not spayed or neutered, and never considered indoor pets. When the population of cats becomes too many they hand them out like candy to who ever will take them.
Electra and Elvis’s life before coming into Pet Patrol care involved gentle children and the risk
of going in and out of a heated shed on the side of the house. They were not protected and
anything could have happened to them at any time. Now enjoying the indoor, climate controlled, lifestyle, they are thriving.

Personality:

Elvis and Electra are friendly and sweet kittens that love to be a part of family life. They often
chase each other, which is great fun to watch, as they will hide from each other and then pop
out to continue the game! They enjoy playing with children and have been happy to be carried
in arms. A favourite toy is the cat tunnel, where they often play Hide and Seek in with each
other. When playtime is over, they will find a lap to cuddle on or will find a cozy spot on the cat
tree. Elvis and Electra the perfect balance of kitten energy and sweet cuddliness and they will
be amazing family pets! They are a bonded pair, ready to be adopted into their forever home
together. One that will welcome them into the family and kept safely indoors
