Rescue:

Babs is a pretty little gray and white girl, a tripod, which means she’s missing a leg. Originally she was adopted into a home as a kitten and all was well until they got a dog. The
dog went after Babs and damaged her leg so badly that it had to be amputated. Being
frightened now and not comfortable in her own home, Babs went to live with a family member, but was not happy there either. After three years, they decided they didn’t want her
anymore and took her in to the vet clinic to be euthanized. The staff there, knowing that
she had not received any healthcare at all in the last three years, called Pet Patrol to see if
we would be able to help. Which we did and she is now happily in our care. Babs has
turned out to be a very sweet and lovable cat who has now integrated in with other kitties
at the sanctuary.

Personality:

Babs is a very social and active cat, who has not slowed down a bit with her lack of one
limb. She is very affectionate and readily will headbutt anything that interests her, including her people.. She really enjoys pets and attention, will come to you for a cuddles and
flops down beside you, looking up with the sweetest little kitty smile. Babs has been described as very kind and gentle, she loves a cozy place to curl up and nap whether that is
above a warm fridge or on blankets. Babs is ready to be adopted into a forever home, as
an only cat. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
