Rescue:

A woman who lives in a small rural town, has rescued many cats, volunteered for Pet Patrol
and adopted a few as well. She had noticed this lovely brown tabby and white boy in her back
yard about a month before and began asking neighbours about him. Was he an owned cat
allowed outdoors, was he a stray, was he feral or friendly? One neighbour, who named him
Cosmo, lived across the road and said he showed up in January, while it was mild outside and
before the big snow storm. They were pleased he had survived it and kept feeding him, but he
was not approached to see if he was friendly or allowed inside the house. With the weather
being much nicer now that summer had arrived, Cosmo was wandering around and checking
out the neighbourhood. He must have liked what our volunteer was feeding him because he
stayed pretty close to her home.

Personality:

Cosmo is such a nice, friendly boy who is so appreciative of being brought indoors. He must
have been living with a family once because he made himself right at home in the sanctuary.
He has no problem approaching people for attention and he gives head butts and deep purrs to
the person showing him some love. Cosmo has discovered toys, and is quite happy to play
as part of a group, chasing the laser pen light, or will entertain himself with a catnip toy or
crinkle ball as well. Cosmo is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
