Rescue:

Kinee is such a sweet little cat and he was found in a small village. This is during the long
weekend when most people have gone away camping or visiting with family. There weren’t too
many people around but one family was enjoying their staycation at home. This little cat had
been hanging around for a little while with his mother, but after meeting the family dog she left
and Kinee was on his own. Another young cat appeared at the same time, Kanga, and the
two kittens played in the garden and slept in the flower pots but also sought adventure in the
bush. The family was afraid they would not see the cats again, but the next day they came
looking for their dinner. There are children in this rescue family who are very good with pets
and they walked right over and picked them up and cuddled them. Kinee was thoroughly
enjoying it, so it appears he must have come from a home at some point, but why was he
out here on his own? A Found Cat ad was posted on the local community website but no one
came forward and after a few days with the weather changing from hot to cold and rain to top it
off, they thought it best that he be inside and then onto a cat rescue organization. Kinee and
Kanga don’t appear to be related but it was nice for them to have each other.

Personality:

What a little sweetheart Kinee is! He is very cute but he will stand up for himself and has no
fear. He has quite enjoyed exploring the sanctuary and meeting all the cats. If there was one
that pawed at her, he pawed right back without hesitation. As a little cat he is playful, likes
the cat trees and scratching posts, happy to chase after a bouncing ball or the wand toy dangled by his caregiver. He is cuddly too and doesn’t mind in the least being picked up and
cradled in your arms. He is adorable. His coat is interesting as it is partially black and sable
and he has white hairs throughout. Very pretty. Kinee is ready to be adopted into his forever
home with a playmate. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
