Rescue:
Yoko had been found on a hobby farm with her two kittens. This is a nice place in the country
and the people are good to their animals on the farm. They are well cared for and treated like
pets. Yoko just arrived there one day out of the blue. They did not know where she came from
or what time of the night she arrived but she was at the feeding station in the morning. Her two
kittens were not immediately noticed. She brought them out of hiding a day or two later and
that is when the family felt it would be better for her to be placed with a rescue organization
and find homes for her and her kittens. They had a limited number of animals that they could
care for and because cats breed so prolifically they just didn’t want to have any more than
those already in residence. Yoko came to us with her two little kittens Yukon and Yolla and they
all have all done extremely well in their foster home.
Personality:
Yoko is a sweet little brown tabby cat who has made herself at home with her foster family.
She loves to lay in the window and watch the birds, basking in the sun and keeping an eye on
everything outside, just like a neighbourhood watch cat. She will often fall asleep while keeping note of the outdoor activities, giving in to the afternoon nap time, sometimes moving to the
closest and comfiest chair or your in lap. She likes to be pet and to be around people and will
readily show her affection and appreciation for the attention. All round Yoko is a nice cat and
will be part of the family, showing people how to take time, slow down and chill. She is playful
as well and toys are becoming exciting, something to chase and trigger her curiosity. Yoko is
ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that ill welcome her into the family and keep
her safely indoors.
