ADOPTION PROFILE

Amour

Amour

Amour

Rescue:

Amour and his siblings came from a country property where they had been living in a barn with
their mama, Angel. The woman renting the barn was preparing to move across Canada with her
horses, goats, and dog, and the property owner did not want the cats left behind. After a long drive
to the sanctuary, the six kittens arrived together in a large dog crate, dirty and in desperate need of
a cleanup. Everyone received a bath, which these gentle kittens handled remarkably well. Although
initially nervous about suddenly having ceilings, windows, and walls around them, Amour and his
siblings quickly settled into the comforts and safety of indoor life

Personality:

Amour is an independent little guy with a wonderfully playful side that shines once he feels
comfortable. He likes having the chance to settle in and get to know his surroundings, but once he
does, he is the most playful of his trio of siblings and is ready to have some fun! Amour will thrive in
a home with plenty of toys, enrichment, and opportunities to keep his curious mind entertained. For
all his independence during the day, nighttime brings out his affectionate side. He enjoys settling in
for cuddles and certainly isn’t afraid to let his people know when he would like a good brushing.
Independent, playful, and sweet on his own terms, Amour is ready to be adopted into his forever
home—one that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
