Rescue:
Livy is an adorable little cat who was somehow left outside entirely on her own. One day, a woman
was leaving work and walking toward her truck when Livy suddenly appeared from behind one of
the tires, where her tiny body had been almost impossible to see. Thankfully, Livy was friendly and
determined to be noticed, running straight to the woman and even trying to climb her leg for
attention. She simply wasn’t going to let her rescuer leave without her! There was no food, water,
shelter, or cat colony nearby, and the woman knew she couldn’t leave such a vulnerable kitten
behind. Livy was painfully thin, little more than skin and bones, and was also showing signs of a
respiratory infection. She was brought safely indoors while the woman quickly searched for a
rescue that could provide the care and nutrition she desperately needed, eventually bringing little
Livy into Pet Patrol’s care.
Personality:
Livy is a sweet girl who may be a little shy at first, but once she feels comfortable, she blossoms
into a total cuddle bug with her favourite humans. She is much more interested in bonding with her
people than making animal friends and loves being right where the action is once she knows she is
safe. Livy will happily hop straight into your lap to chase strings and rolling balls before curling up
for a cozy nap when playtime is over. She likes to take a moment to assess new situations, but
beneath that initial hesitation is an affectionate little girl with so much love to give. With plenty of
attention and a family to call her own, Livy is sure to become the loyal lap cat she was meant to be.
Livy is ready to be adopted into her forever home—one that will welcome her into the family and
keep her safely indoors.
