Rescue:
Bailey’s mom showed up in someone’s backyard and looked very uncertain. She immediately
proved her personality to be friendly and outgoing, and therefore was easily invited into her rescue
home. She was very happy to be inside again, which obviously means that she was raised in a
home before, but somehow found herself lost or abandoned. But by now Bella was pregnant and,
therefore no microchip to find out who her original owners were. Postings on social media were
made, but no one ever came forward for her. In doing a little investigative work the people who
invited Bella into their home, discovered that the owners lived not too far away and had moved
about three weeks previously. They never came forward. It is always very sad when a cat is
abandoned because their next meal is not there, the comfort of a home overnight and protection is
not there. And it’s not fair.
Personality:
Bailey has grown up surrounded by the love and bustle of family life and has embraced being an
indoor companion from the very beginning. Raised alongside young children and babies, she is
social, energetic, and always eager to be part of whatever is happening around her. Bailey will
happily greet you at the door when you come home, follow you from room to room, and jump into
bed to make sure your day starts with cuddles. She has a playful, mischievous side that keeps life
entertaining, but she’s equally intuitive and will curl up beside you when you’re feeling under the
weather, offering quiet comfort. Bailey isn’t fussy about her food, enjoys her treats—especially after
having her nails trimmed—and has grown into a healthy, happy twoyearold. She is ready to be
adopted into her forever home, one that will welcome her as a beloved member of the family and
keep her safely indoors.
