Rescue:
Bella and Scotch’s story began when their mother, a beautiful black house cat, managed to sneak
out of her family’s sunroom and into the backyard before she had been spayed. It wasn’t long
before a determined neighbourhood tomcat took an interest in her, and a few weeks later it became
clear that kittens were on the way. She gave birth to Bella, Scotch, and their sister. The kittens were
raised in a loving home where they received excellent care, plenty of attention, and lots of
socialization. Their sister was quickly adopted by a family friend, but despite their owners’ best
efforts, Bella and Scotch were unable to find a home together. Friends and family who had
expressed interest when the kittens were tiny ultimately changed their minds, leaving the bonded
pair still searching for their forever family. Wanting the best for them, their owners reached out to
Pet Patrol.
Personality:
Scotch is the happiest little guy. He’s as affectionate as they come and loves being picked up,
cuddled, and included in family activities. When playtime begins, he transforms into a tiny whirlwind
of energy, chasing his sister through tunnels, wrestling, tumbling, and batting toys across the room.
Crinkly toys, springs, wand toys, and scratching posts are among his favourites, and he never
seems to run out of ways to entertain himself. Having grown up in a busy household with both large
and small dogs, as well as young children visiting regularly, Scotch is comfortable around a variety
of people and pets. Sweet, social, and endlessly entertaining, Scotch is ready to be adopted into
his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
