Kachina

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a message from a woman who operates a small rescue after she became
aware of a growing situation involving cats in desperate need of help. Years earlier, Pet Patrol had
assisted the same family living on the rural property by taking in some kittens and adult cats. At the
time, the property had already been quite cluttered and difficult to manage, but sadly conditions had
worsened significantly following the passing of the father in the family. When help finally arrived,
many of the cats were suffering from lice, worms, ticks, malnourishment, and being underweight.
Wanting to give as many cats as possible a chance at a healthier future, Pet Patrol brought several
into care, including Kalika, Katera, Kishil, Kachina, Kanti, Kamani, Kemi, and Kiko. Both adults and
kittens are now receiving the medical care, proper nutrition, and safety they desperately needed.
There are still more cats remaining on the property, and it is hoped that additional rescues will be
possible in time with the owners’ cooperation.

Personality:

Kachina is an adorable girl who brings endless fun wherever she goes. She’s full of energy and
loves spending her days racing around with her siblings, playing chase, and batting toys across the
floor. When all the excitement finally wears off, she can usually be found curled up for a nap in a
cozy cat tree or stretched out in a sunny windowseat. Kachina is the gentle sweetheart of her litter
who adores chin and body scratches and loves lounging in the sunshine. Of course, she still has
plenty of kitten spunk and can often be found joining in the fun. Kachina is ready to be adopted into
her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
