Rescue:
Emerson came into Pet Patrol’s care after a call from a local farm where he had been living. The
farmers do things the traditional way and so the cost for Pet care is not in the budget but they were
concerned about Emerson. He had a growth on his foot that was noticeable and knew he needed
help. When our volunteers saw him, it was clear this wasn’t something that could wait. Emerson
showed himself to be a lovely, friendly, and sweetnatured boy who handled everything with quiet
trust. His medical needs were met and he is now healthy and ready for his forever home. No more
barn life for him. Only soft couches, warm, cuddles, and people to love him. One that will welcome
him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
Personality:
Meet Emerson, a handsome, fluffy boy with a heart as soft as his coat. He absolutely loves pets
and will happily circle your ankles, meowing and purring to let you know he’s ready for attention.
His sweet little chirps are his way of chatting with you, and once you start petting him, he melts into
it. Emerson forms strong bonds with his people and shows his full affection once he feels
comfortable and trusts you. Watching him open up is incredibly special — his purrs get louder, his
eyes soften, and he leans right into your hand for more love. He’s also wonderfully playful! Anything
with movement catches his eye. Wand toys, rolling balls, or anything that wiggles will have him
engaged and ready to pounce. He brings such a fun, interactive energy into the home while still
being gentle and sweet. If you’re looking for a soft, loving companion who will greet you with chirps,
ankle circles, and happy purrs, Emerson is ready to find his forever family that will keep him safely
indoors.
