Princess

Rescue:

Princess came to Pet Patrol after her young owners found themselves in serious financial difficulty
and were asked to leave their rented onebedroom apartment. With five cats to rehome and limited
options, they made the heartbreaking decision to seek help. One cat went to a small rescue in a
nearby town, and Princess was welcomed into Pet Patrol’s care. The couple was moving in with
family or friends who had two large dogs with a high prey drive, and they feared for Princess’ safety.
Princess had always lived indoors and had only known life with her other feline housemates.
Originally found as a young kitten at a grocery store in the summertime—trying desperately to
survive and resorted to eating soil—she was brought home, cared for, and taken to the vet. Though
it was a difficult goodbye, her owners wanted to ensure he would be safe and secure.

Personality:

Princess is a truly lovely girl who seems to look at everyone with warmth and affection in her eyes.
She adores being petted and snuggled and is perfectly happy to be picked up and held close.
Gentle and quiet by nature, Princess thrives on human interaction and enjoys spending time near
her people, soaking up all the love and attention she can get. Her sweet and calm personality
makes her a wonderful companion who simply wants to be part of a caring home where she can
share her affection. She would do best as the only cat in the home. Princess is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
