My Toe Was Hurting
Hi… my name is Emerson. 🐾
I used to live on a local farm. It was fairly quiet but there was a busy road, farm machinery and large animals to contend with. I did my best to be a good boy. The farmers noticed something wasn’t right with me — there was a growth on my foot, and it kept getting bigger every day. They knew it wasn’t something that should be ignored.
When Pet Patrol saw me, they agreed. It couldn’t wait.
I didn’t really understand what was happening. I just knew my toe felt uncomfortable, and walking wasn’t quite the same. But even when I was worried, I tried to be brave. I let the humans examine me. I leaned into their hands when they spoke softly. I trusted them.
The vet says the growth is on my toe, and the only way to fix it properly is surgery. They will need to remove the affected toe so the problem doesn’t spread or cause bigger complications later. It sounds scary, but the humans say it will help me live comfortably and pain-free.
I’m a friendly, sweet boy. I don’t ask for much — just a safe place, kind hands, and the chance to feel good in my own body.
Surgery and medical care are expensive, and Pet Patrol helps many cats like me at once. If you’re able to donate or share my story, you’d be helping me take this important step toward healing.
Thank you for caring about a former farm boy who just wants to walk comfortably again.
With gentle purrs and hopeful paws,
Emerson 💙🐱
