Jellybean

Rescue:

Jellybean and his brothers, James and Junior, were the last kittens born to a pretty cat who had
been rescued by an elderly man living in a remote town about an hour from the city. He had found
her outside and brought her in, caring for her lovingly, though she was never spayed. In small
towns and in years past, it was common for cats to live indoor outdoor lives, when the risks seemed
fewer than they are today. Over time, this resulted in several litters being born in his home. As the
gentleman’s health declined, his family gently decided it was time for him to move into a nursing
home where he could receive proper care. The mother cat was taken in by family members,
spayed, and now lives safely with their own pets, giving him peace of mind knowing she is well
cared for. Jellybean and his brothers came into rescue ready to begin a new chapter of their own.

Personality:

Jellybean is a very sweet and friendly kitty who loves people and isn’t shy about asking for
attention. He’s often quick to greet you and will happily demand a few pets as soon as you walk in
the room. His affectionate personality makes him a joy to have around. Jellybean enjoys playtime
and has fun with a variety of toys. Cat wands, springs, and anything he can bat around quickly
catch his interest. He also loves climbing up the cat tree to watch the world around him or to launch
into his next playful adventure. When playtime is over, Jellybean is all about getting cozy. You’ll
often find him curled up in the tunnel or tucked into a soft blanket for a comfortable nap. With his
friendly nature and playful spirit, Jellybean would make a wonderful companion for a lucky family.
He is looking for a loving home committed to keeping him safely indoors.
