Junior

Rescue:

Junior and his brothers, Jellybean and James, were the last kittens born in the home of an elderly
man who had rescued their mother from outdoors in a remote town about an hour from the city. He
cared for her with kindness, but she was never spayed, and over time several litters were born. In
past generations and in rural areas, indoor outdoor life for cats was common, when the risks did not
seem as significant as they are today. As the man’s ability to care for himself declined, his family
determined it was time for him to move into a nursing home. They took the mother cat into their own
home, had her spayed, and she now lives happily alongside their pets, giving him comfort in
knowing she is safe. Junior and his brothers entered rescue ready for their own fresh start.

Personality:

Junior is a sweet, affectionate boy whose favourite place to be is right beside—or on top of—his
person. The moment you sit down, he’s likely to hop into your lap, gaze up at you lovingly, and
begin making the world’s best biscuits. He enjoys being picked up, cuddled, and carried around,
always happy to stay close. Junior loves batting around small balls and toy mice and often chooses
to nap tucked inside his favourite tube. He also has a playful, energetic side and enjoys running
and romping with feline friends. Junior adores people and other cats and would be happiest in a
home with his brother James or with other high energy companions who can match his playful
spirit. Junior is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family
and keep him safely indoors.
