ADOPTION PROFILE

James

James

James

Rescue:

James and his brothers, Jellybean and Junior, were the final litter born to a cat lovingly rescued by
an elderly man in a small, remote town about an hour from the city. He had taken the mother cat in
from outside and cared for her devotedly, though she was never spayed. In smaller communities,
allowing cats to roam was once far more common, when the dangers of outdoor life were less
understood. As a result, she had multiple litters over the years. When the gentleman’s health began
to decline, his family made the difficult but necessary decision for him to move into a nursing home.
The mother cat was brought into the family’s care, spayed, and now lives comfortably with their
own pets, ensuring he always knows she is safe. James and his brothers were welcomed into
rescue so they too could find secure, loving homes.

Personality:

James is a very friendly and affectionate boy who makes sure you know when it’s time for attention.
He’ll chat sweetly or gently paw at your hand to remind you that pets are required. James loves
curling up beside you in bed or on the couch and will happily roll over for belly rubs without
hesitation. He even enjoys being picked up and carried around, soaking up the closeness. Once
cuddle time is complete, his playful side takes over—he’ll toss toys into the air, chase anything with
a bell, and zoom around the house with boundless energy. Strings are a particular favourite. James
thrives on interaction and adores both people and other cats. He would do wonderfully in a home
with other playful kitties or alongside his brother Junior. James is ready to be adopted into his
forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
