Rescue:
Frankie came into Pet Patrol’s care after a kind woman from a small village reached out for help.
The area often sees stray cats wandering in from surrounding farms, and Frankie appeared in her
backyard in late summer, extremely skinny, dirty, and clearly in need of care. She tried several
times to bring him to safety without success, but never gave up. Instead, she set up a feeding
station and provided an insulated, heated cat house supplied by a local shelter so he could stay
warm. As winter arrived, Frankie began to trust her—allowing pets, coming when called, and
showing signs that he wanted to be indoors. With guidance, she gently brought him inside by
closing the door while he was eating. Despite efforts to locate an owner through local postings and
veterinary checks, no one came forward. What became clear was that Frankie was simply a very
sweet, affectionate boy who had been surviving on his own far too long.
Personality:
Frankie is the definition of a love bug—a big boy with an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves
being around people and greets you with the sweetest meow, quickly turning on his impressively
loud purr once the pets begin. Gentle and affectionate, Frankie leans into attention and happily
soaks up all the love you’re willing to give. He gets along well with other cats and enjoys playtime,
especially batting at string toys. In his foster home, he has become particularly fond of his
companion Juliet, showing how much he appreciates feline friendship. Having a friend like her
helps him grow confident, as he can be unsure of new surroundings and take time to adjust to new
faces. With his warm, easygoing nature and loving personality, Frankie is a devoted companion
who simply wants to share his big heart with a family of his own. Frankie is ready to be adopted into
his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
