Rescue:
Pet Patrol has often worked alongside smaller rescue organizations outside the area, including a
dedicated woman who spent years helping her community through rescue efforts and spay/neuter
programs. Unfortunately, due to health concerns, she had to step away from her charitable work. A
few friendly and social cats remained in her care who now needed safe placements, and Sissy is
one of them. Sissy was born to a rescued cat in that foster home and, because she was so loved,
she was never formally adopted out. Three years later, circumstances have changed, and it’s now
time for Sissy to find a family of her own. Having grown up in a mostly adult home with teenagers,
she is accustomed to a calmer environment and is ready for a place where she can truly belong.
Personality:
Sissy is accustomed to life in a structured family home with teenagers, parents, and other pets
where everyone shared in caring for the animals. She has been raised in an attentive environment
and has always received excellent care. While she has lived alongside dogs, she prefers to keep
her distance and would do best in a home without canines. Sissy does well with other cats and
children over 12 and enjoys being part of a calm, respectful household. She has a wonderful playful
side and loves batting at her toys, watching birds at the feeder from the window, and stretching out
in front of the fireplace. Beautiful inside and out, Sissy is a lovely companion who thrives in a
steady, caring home. Sissy is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her
into the family and keep her safely indoors.
