Rescue:

Mau was found in a woodshed, calmly caring for her newborn kittens in a nest of pink insulation. A
man was drawn in by the cry of a kitten that had fallen deep into the insulation—too far for Mau to
reach. He gently rescued the baby and offered Mau a soft, safe carrier tucked into her chosen spot.
She accepted it right away, purring and settling in with her babies. Living near farmland and a
neighbouring barn with dozens of cats, Mau had clearly been seeking a quiet, safe space to give
birth. From the start, she was sweet, friendly, and trusting—just a loving mama looking for help.
Now in Pet Patrol’s care, Mau and her kittens are safe, warm, and ready for brighter days ahead.

Personality:

Mau is an adorable big baby with a heart full of love. She absolutely adores cuddles and kisses and
is one of the most affectionate cats you’ll ever meet. Start by petting her head and the moment you
move toward her belly, she’ll flop right over to invite full belly rubs without hesitation. Your bed
quickly becomes her bed too—which works perfectly, because she loves being pulled in close for
cozy snuggles. Mau has a deep, unexpectedly funny meow that always makes you smile. Though
she can be a little shy at first, it doesn’t take long for her sweet and loving personality to shine. She
is wonderful with kittens and naturally takes on a gentle, motherly role with them. Mau is a devoted,
affectionate companion who thrives on closeness and connection. Mau is ready to be adopted into
