Cinnamon & Chilli

Cinnamon & Chilli

Rescue:

Pet Patrol received a call from a woman who needed help rehoming her family member’s remaining
cats, and the situation was heartbreaking. The family member struggled with addiction and the
home had become severely cluttered, unsafe, and in need of major repair. Over the years, boarders
had come and gone, and many of them brought cats with them. When they moved out, they left
their cats behind. Most were eventually rehomed, but Cinnamon and Chilli were still there when the
call for help was made. By this time, the basement had flooded with sewage and the house was not
liveable. When Chilli and Cinnamon arrived at Pet Patrol they were understandably nervous,
unsure of what this sudden change meant and what our intentions were. But with gentle voices, soft
hands, and patient reassurance, they quickly realized they were safe.

Personality:

Meet Cinnamon and her baby girl, Chilli – a truly special bonded pair overflowing with love.
Cinnamon is a devoted mama with the softest heart. She gazes at you like she can see straight into
your soul and gives the sweetest little chirps when she’s asking for pets. She adores being picked
up and held close, melting into your arms and soaking up affection. Gentle, nurturing, and endlessly
loving, Cinnamon is the kind of cat who makes a house feel like home. Her daughter Chilli is just as
special – a rare female orange kitten with a bright personality to match her beautiful coat. Full of
energy and curiosity, Chilli delights in every toy she can find and explores every inch of her
surroundings with fearless enthusiasm. When playtime winds down, she’s happiest curled up
beside her mama for a cozy nap. Their bond is heart melting. Cinnamon keeps a watchful, chirping
eye on her baby, and the two are often found snuggled together in a perfect orange swirl of love.
They are the ideal blend of sweet and playful, snuggly and spirited. Cinnamon and Chilli are looking
for a forever home together where they will be cherished and kept safely indoors.
