Oliver

Rescue:

Oliver was once a cherished member of a busy family home, living happily alongside other cats, a dog, and children. Sadly, he began experiencing health issues and facing the emotional and financial strain of veterinary care and specialized food, his family made the heartbreaking decision to relinquish him to the veterinary clinic so he could receive the help he needed. The only other option was to euthanize him. Oliver spent the weekend at the vet, where he was treated and completely spoiled. His medical team believed stress from a busy home played a role in his condition, and once he was feeling better, Oliver was placed into a foster home. There, he quickly settled in, proving just how resilient and adaptable this sweet boy truly is

Personality:

Oliver is an absolute gem of a cat who thrives on love, attention, and strong human connection. He greets his foster family at the door, happily seeks out affection, and made himself at home almost immediately, clearly knowing he was safe. Oliver loves being the centre of your world and would do best as an only cat, where he can soak up all the attention he craves. He’s incredibly polite and affectionate, gently headbutting or bopping your hand at mealtime as if to say thank you before eating. Oliver adores belly rubs, chin scratches, and being brushed, treating every grooming session like a personal spa day. He enjoys lounging in his cat house batting at the hanging ball, snuggling on the couch during TV time, and curling up in your lap. At bedtime, he’s happiest snuggling beside you—and will even crawl under the covers to be close. Oliver is fine being picked up, though he’s a big boy and appreciates gentle handling. With his calm, loving nature, this lovely boy makes a devoted and deeply affectionate companion. Oliver is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
