Dolly

Dolly

Dolly

Rescue:

Oh Dolly—how incredibly lucky she was to survive. When Dolly was found, her eyes were so badly infected they were sealed shut, leaving her unable to see and completely disoriented. She could only hear what was happening around her, with no way to find safety on her own. She had wandered into the parking lot of a plaza just as a snow plough was clearing the heavy snowfall from the night before. In a terrifying moment, she was completely buried. Thankfully, someone nearby realized what had happened and immediately ran over, digging frantically through the snow. When others asked what was wrong, they quickly joined in, and people from nearby stores rushed out to help. Dolly was found alive but in shock and dangerously cold. She was brought inside a local petfood store, where help was called right away. Despite the storm, a kind Samaritan transported Dolly to a local cat caregiver, tucking her safely inside his coat so she stayed warm the entire drive. Against all odds, Dolly survived.

Personality:

Dolly is a resilient, affectionate girl who has embraced indoor life with her whole heart. She’s social, gentle, and loves being around people, often following along to see what’s happening next. Dolly enjoys window watching and quietly observing the world outside, but she’s just as happy settling into a lap for cuddles and pets. She’s easy to handle, enjoys being held, and has a calm, trusting nature that makes her a joy to spend time with. Despite everything she’s been through, Dolly has blossomed into a loving, content companion who clearly appreciates comfort and care. Dolly is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
