Rescue:
Pet Patrol was contacted by a woman who found herself overwhelmed after trying to do the right thing for several cats in need. Earlier in the summer, she had rescued two kittens, Birch and Beacon, who had been living outside, and brought them safely into her home. Around the same time, another female cat appeared at her door, and the woman welcomed her inside so she could safely give birth to three kittens: Braya, Boden, and Blane. All five kittens were raised indoors with kindness, affection, play, and care, but despite her efforts, the woman was unable to find homes for them. As the number of cats grew, a family member in the home began struggling with the constant activity, and it became clear she could no longer manage on her own. Wanting the best for them all, she reached out to Pet Patrol for help, ensuring this little family could move forward toward safe, stable futures.
Personality:
Beacon is the ultimate sweetheart human or feline, he loves quiet comfort and affection. Never far from other kitties in the home, you’ll often find him curled up with his brother or other fosters, their paws wrapped together. Beacon is still a kitten but very much an old soul. He is confident, gentle and easy going. He stares into your eyes, inviting affection with his purrs and rolling for tummy rubs. In your arms, he melts into a cuddly ball of fluff, lifting his head for chin scratches. When it’s time to put him down, he accepts it and will find his brother to keep him company. Beacon is ready to find his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
