Rescue:
The story of the “L” kittens began with a call for help. A family in a town not too far from the Sanctuary found out they had to move out of the country, but unfortunately they could not bring their adult cat Luna with them. They struggled to rehome her for a time, until they asked if their neighbour would take her in. The neighbour happily obliged. What she didn’t know was that Luna was pregnant. Soon enough, one cat turned into seven, as this firsttime momma had a litter of five rowdy little boys and their sweet baby sister. At this point, the neighbour knew she’d need some help finding permanent homes for this furry family and reached out to Pet Patrol for assistance.
Personality:
Leylak is the only girl in her litter, and she holds her own among her brothers with sass and sweetness in equal measure. She’s clever, confident, and absolutely adorable, often leading the charge when it’s time to play. But when the toys are put away, she’s quick to turn into a cuddle bug, purring contentedly in your arms. Leylak adores other cats and played with her siblings constantly—they love to chase, tumble, and nap side by side—so She would love to find a forever home where she had a kitty companion to call her own. Leylak is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
