Rescue:

Pet Patrol first connected with a woman who had previously rescued a medically fragile cat from her backyard and later adopted her after nursing her back to health. In the fall of 2025, history repeated itself when another gentle female cat appeared in the same backyard, limping and in need of care. Without hesitation, the woman brought her to the veterinarian and was reassured the injury was minor. Within days, it became clear the cat was also heavily pregnant. The very next day, she gave birth to seven kittens safely inside the home. One of those kittens was Deyton. The woman provided a warm, loving environment and raised the kittens with care until they were three months old. Though it was difficult to part with them, she knew Pet Patrol could help ensure each kitten, including Deyton, would have the opportunity to find a safe and loving forever home.

Personality:

Deyton is a sweet, curious, and playful kitten with soft fur and a gentle spirit. He often follows along behind his brother, taking a little extra time to observe and warm up to new people. Once he feels comfortable, Deyton is happy to accept pets and snuggles and shows his affectionate side. He especially loves toys—particularly small soft balls that he proudly carries around—and enjoys playing in tunnels and with his siblings. After a busy play session, Deyton is all about rest, choosing cozy blankets or stretching out on the cat tree for a good nap. Deyton is ready to be adopted into his forever home with his brother Daxel. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
