Link

Rescue:

Link came into Pet Patrol’s care after a young man reached out, feeling overwhelmed and unprepared for cat ownership. He had adopted Link through a buy and sell listing after a family needed to rehome him due to a household member developing severe cat allergies. Already in the middle years of his life, Link found himself uprooted once again. The adopter lived in a small studio apartment and was a very light sleeper, waking easily to every sound. Normal nighttime noises—crunching kibble or using the litter box—became too much, leaving him exhausted and unable to cope. Wanting what was best for Link and recognizing the situation wasn’t fair to either of them, he made the responsible decision to ask Pet Patrol for help. Once in care, Link quickly showed what a lovely, easygoing cat he truly is.

Personality:

Link is an absolute charmer with a gentle, calm, and easygoing nature. He’s wonderful company and takes everything in stride, happiest when curled up on the couch beside someone he trusts. Link enjoys following his people around to see what they’re up to and likes to keep watch out the window, where birds, traffic, and daily activity provide endless entertainment. He’s a gentle player who enjoys his toys without being over the top, and his sweet, affectionate personality shines through in everything he does. He’s also good when it comes to having his nails clipped, especially if you offer him gentle belly rubs. With his relaxed demeanor and loving presence, Link is the kind of cat who brings quiet comfort and warmth into a home. Link is ready to be adopted into his forever home. One that will welcome him into the family and keep him safely indoors.
