Rescue:
Amber came from a rural property northwest of the sanctuary, where a friendly adult cat appeared pregnant and later gave birth inside a greenhouse with broken windows. Though the area was surrounded by open fields and barns, it was isolated and not an ideal place for kittens. Fortunately, the timing was late summer, and the property owners’ grandchildren spent lots of time playing with the kittens, helping them become well socialized from a young age. Wanting to ensure their safety and long term wellbeing, the family contacted a small local rescue, and all five cats were brought into care. The two male kittens went to another rescue, the mother was spayed and adopted, and Amber made her way into Pet Patrol’s care, ready to find a forever home of her own.
Personality:
Amber is an outgoing, social girl who doesn’t miss a thing. She joined Emilio in foster home and has become quite bonded with him. She’s highly observant, always wanting to know what’s happening around her, and isn’t shy about being chatty when she wants something. Amber loves exploring and isn’t a fan of being confined—there’s just too much to see and do. She’s easy to pick up and carry, enjoys snuggling, and is wonderfully playful with a confident, curious spirit that makes her a joy to have around. Amber is ready to be adopted into her forever home with Emilio. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
