Marley

Rescue:

A message was sent to one of Pet Patrol’s volunteers explaining that a mother cat had been found under a tarp with two newborn kittens. The woman believed the mother had been dumped, as she had suddenly appeared on the property and was thin, frightened, and trying to protect her tiny babies. The family brought the cats inside, provided warmth, food, and safety, and committed to caring for them until the kittens were old enough to leave their mom. They asked Pet Patrol if we could step in when the time came — to have them vetted, spayed and neutered, and eventually find them loving adoptive homes. The kittens, later named Mischief, Mayhem, and Marley, began their first weeks of life in a safe space rather than out in the elements, and now that they are older, healthy, and ready for the next step, they have come into Pet Patrol care to begin their journey toward forever homes where they will never again be left to fend for themselves.

Personality:

Marley is a very sweet natured girl who enjoys both people and other cats. She can be a little
chatty at times, often offering gentle commentary as she moves about or joins in on whatever’s happening. Marley happily comes up for pets, loves being close to her people, and has a curious side that makes her want to see what you’re doing throughout the day. One of her favorite pastimes is watching the world outside—traffic passing by, fields swaying, and trees moving in the breeze all capture her attention. With her affectionate nature and easygoing personality, Marley makes a lovely companion who enjoys connection, curiosity, and shared moments. Marley is ready to be adopted into her forever home. One that will welcome her into the family and keep her safely indoors.
