Rescue:
Pet Patrol was contacted by a woman who was concerned about her daughter’s quickly growing cat population at home. She had originally adopted two kittens — one male and one female — but without being spayed or neutered, the number of cats soon multiplied. R.J. and Royce were two of the kittens born into this home, alongside their siblings. What began as just two companions had grown into a household of fourteen friendly felines, all living indoors and used to children, attention, and affection. Knowing that this was more than her daughter could manage, the family reached out for help. Over the course of two weeks, the cats and kittens were brought into Pet Patrol’s care in small groups. Each one received a full veterinary check, including spay or neuter surgery, and then was welcomed into the sanctuary or foster homes. Thanks to this family’s willingness to seek support and Pet Patrol’s quick response, R.J. and Royce now have the chance to find a safe, loving forever home — with the comfort and care they deserve.
Personality:
RJ and Royce are a bonded pair who truly do everything together. RJ is the curious explorer, always the first to check things out, chase balls, climb the cat tree, and pounce on his brother to kick off a game of chase. His tail never stops moving, and when playtime slows down, he’s quick to curl up in your lap for belly rubs while watching birds out the window. Royce is a little shyer but just as affectionate. When he hears you enter the room, he comes to greet you, eager for pets and kisses, and loves settling into your lap for quiet snuggles. He enjoys scratchers, chasing springs, and keeping up with RJ during playtime. Whether they’re racing around the room or snuggled together on your lap, these two are happiest side by side and bring the perfect mix of fun, affection, and companionship. RJ and Royce are ready to be adopted into their forever home. One that will welcome them into the family and keep them safely indoors.
