Rescue:
Calli’s story is one we have heard far too often this past year — someone losing their home or
independence due to job loss, injury, or major life changes, and having no choice but to surrender a
beloved pet. Her owner reached out to Pet Patrol heartbroken, explaining that Calli had been a
rescue cat she had cared for over the past few years. Estimated to be about four years old, Calli
was fully vaccinated, spayed, affectionate, and deeply loved. But her owner was moving and had
nowhere safe to bring her. The new home had dogs who would bully Calli, and she refused to put
her through that stress or danger. Wanting nothing more than a secure, loving future for the cat she
adored, she reached out for help. Calli has now come into Pet Patrol care, where she is safe, cared
for, and ready for a new beginning.
Personality:
Cute and cuddly, sweet kitty Calli is happiest when she’s hanging out with her human. Whether
you’re watching TV, working from home, or reading in bed, she loves to lie beside you and keep
you company. If it’s cold, she’ll happily hop onto your lap to keep you warm! Calli is a little chatty
when she has something to say—you can talk to her, and she’ll answer right back. A very smart girl,
she’s even figured out how to “barter,” offering one of her toys in exchange for something she wants
(hopefully!). She enjoys pats and scratches, along with the occasional belly rub. With her beautiful
multicoloured coat and unique markings, Calli is truly stunning—and impossible to resist petting
and stroking. Calli is ready to be welcomed into her forever home, one that will keep her safely
indoors.
